Denmark stocks lower at close of trade; OMX Copenhagen 20 down 1.41%

Investing.com – Denmark stocks were lower after the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Healthcare, Real Estate and Financials sectors led shares lower.

At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 fell 1.41%.

The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Novozymes A/S B (CSE:NZYMb), which rose 1.73% or 5.4 points to trade at 317.8 at the close. Meanwhile, Lundbeck A/S (CSE:LUN) added 1.66% or 4.0 points to end at 245.2 and ISS A/S (CSE:ISS) was up 1.62% or 2.45 points to 153.95 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Novo Nordisk A/S Class B (CSE:NOVOb), which fell 4.10% or 15.8 points to trade at 368.8 at the close. Danske Bank A/S (CSE:DANSKE) declined 1.19% or 1.1 points to end at 90.0 and GN Store Nord (CSE:GN) was down 0.52% or 1.6 points to 304.2.

Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 73 to 50 and 19 ended unchanged.

Crude oil for January delivery was up 3.65% or 2.02 to $57.37 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in January rose 3.10% or 1.89 to hit $62.80 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.48% or 7.05 to trade at $1467.25 a troy ounce.

USD/DKK was up 0.16% to 6.7554, while EUR/DKK rose 0.02% to 7.4735.

The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.14% at 97.875.
