At the close in Oslo, the Oslo OBX declined 0.58% to hit a new 1-month low.
The best performers of the session on the Oslo OBX were Petroleum Geo - Services ASA (OL:PGS), which rose 3.59% or 0.41 points to trade at 11.82 at the close. Meanwhile, Yara International ASA (OL:YAR) added 1.68% or 6.9 points to end at 416.5 and Telenor ASA (OL:TEL) was up 1.43% or 2.5 points to 177.4 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were BW Offshore Ltd (OL:BWO), which fell 6.50% or 3.360 points to trade at 48.340 at the close. Nel ASA (OL:NEL) declined 6.12% or 0.430 points to end at 6.515 and Aker ASA (OL:AKER) was down 6.03% or 31.0 points to 483.0.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Oslo Stock Exchange by 142 to 64 and 30 ended unchanged.
Shares in Yara International ASA (OL:YAR) rose to 3-years highs; rising 1.68% or 6.9 to 416.5.
Crude oil for August delivery was down 2.92% or 1.66 to $55.12 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in September fell 2.87% or 1.83 to hit $61.83 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract rose 0.28% or 4.05 to trade at $1427.35 a troy ounce.
EUR/NOK was down 0.00% to 9.6391, while USD/NOK fell 0.01% to 8.5882.
